Cookies Policy
A short document, because there is very little to declare. This website runs no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies of any kind.
Version 1.0 · Effective from 4 September 2026
This policy explains what rixxityfi OÜ stores in your browser when you visit this website. It complements our Privacy Policy and reflects the requirements of the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in Estonia and of the GDPR.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Related technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels and fingerprinting scripts — do a similar job by different means. For simplicity, this policy uses "cookie" to mean all browser-side storage.
Under European law, cookies that are strictly necessary to deliver a service you asked for may be set without consent. Everything else — analytics, advertising, personalisation, A/B testing — requires your prior, freely given consent.
2. What we do not use
To be unambiguous, this website contains none of the following:
- Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible or any other analytics or measurement tool;
- Meta Pixel, Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight or any advertising or remarketing tag;
- heatmaps, session recording or scroll-tracking scripts;
- social media widgets, embedded like buttons or comment systems;
- A/B testing, personalisation or user-profiling tools;
- chat widgets or customer-support trackers;
- advertising or profiling cookies of any kind, first-party or third-party.
Because none of these exist here, there is nothing to consent to and nothing to opt out of.
3. What we do use
Exactly one item is stored in your browser, and only after you interact with the notice at the bottom of the screen:
| Name | TypeStorage | PurposeWhy | LifetimeDuration |
|---|---|---|---|
rx-cookie-choice |
localStorage | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice, so it is not shown again on every page | Until you clear site data |
This key is strictly necessary in the legal sense: it exists only to honour a preference you expressed, contains no identifier, is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and is readable only by this website in your own browser. It is not used to recognise, count or track you.
No session cookies, authentication cookies or server-side session identifiers are set, because this website has no login area and no server-side application.
4. Third-party requests
Although no third party sets storage in your browser here, loading a page does make requests to services outside our control, and any such request necessarily reveals your IP address to the recipient:
- Google Fonts (
fonts.googleapis.com,fonts.gstatic.com) — serves the typefaces used on this site. Google states that font requests do not set cookies. If you prefer to avoid the request entirely, a content-blocking extension will stop it; the site remains fully usable with fallback fonts. - Our hosting provider — receives the request in order to serve the page, and may keep short-lived technical server logs for security purposes.
Contact links on this site open your own e-mail client or telephone application. Nothing is transmitted to us until you choose to send.
5. Consent
Because we set only strictly necessary storage, we do not ask for consent to cookies and we do not deploy a consent-management platform. The short notice you may have seen at the bottom of the screen is informational: it tells you what is stored and disappears when you acknowledge it.
If we ever introduce analytics or any other non-essential technology, this policy will be updated first and a genuine consent banner — with a real, equally prominent "reject" option and no pre-ticked boxes — will be shown before anything is stored.
6. Managing storage yourself
You remain in full control. Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies and local storage:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site data
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Clearing site data for this domain removes the single preference key described above. The only consequence is that the informational notice appears once more.
7. Websites we build for clients
This policy covers this website only. Sites and applications we develop for clients are operated by those clients, who decide independently which cookies and tracking technologies to use and are responsible for their own cookie policies and consent mechanisms.
Where a client asks us to implement analytics or advertising tools, we implement them behind a compliant consent mechanism: non-essential scripts are loaded only after consent, refusal is as easy as acceptance, and consent is logged. We will say so plainly if a request would not be lawful as described.
8. Changes to this policy
Any change in the technologies used on this site will be reflected here before the change goes live. The version number and effective date above indicate the current edition.
